The cascad agency has joined forces with the Centre d’Accès Sécurisé aux Données (CASD), which is a research infrastructure allowing users to remotely access and work with individual and highly-detailed data, in the most secured conditions. This center currently provides access to data from the French Statistical Institute (INSEE), the French Ministries for Justice, Education, Labor, Agriculture and Finance, as well as Social Security contributions, health data, and some private data from companies.
The French Statistical Secrecy Committee granted cascad a permanent accreditation for their certification reviewers allowing them full access to all the confidential microdata needed for each certification. To guarantee absolute confidentiality, each certification is carried out by a single certification reviewer in a dedicated virtual machine only accessible within the CASD environment.
